Digital photography has been dramatically improved by the various tools available for post-production. One of the tools that I use quite often is photo-merge. This allows me to ‘stitch’ photos together in order to create wide angle landscape photos.
Here are a few of my favorites.
Havasupai Falls in Arizona is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Here is a shot of the falls. I wasn’t able to get the whole falls in one shot so I set up a tripod and shot multiple images that I stitched together for this one. Click on the image to see the full size photo of Havasupai.
Slide Rock – Oak Creek Arizona
This is a shot of the Slide Rock area near Sedona, Arizona. Again, I wasn’t able to capture the whole area in one shot so this is actually 3 shots merged together. The sky was very grey that day so I added some blue sky and white clouds to make the photo a bit more dramatic. Click on the image to see the full size.
